Europe is a collection of the most amazing cities, rich in history and culture. As most European cities are best accessed on foot, the guides are able to take you deeper in each city! Stray Travel takes advantage of the European rail network to get you around cities and accommodation in guaranteed in central locations.

Travel: Guided departures on a set route predominantly using specific local rail services (there are some boat and bus sectors - including transfers where necessary). The best way to get to places both on and off the beaten track in continental Europe - the best flexibility, the best travel routes, the most relaxed travel times, the best access to city centres, accommodation and attractions.
Accommodation: Continental Europe has chronic accommodation shortages for independent travellers over the peak season. 'Backpacker' accommodation is only starting to be developed. Because of the way that independent travel has developed the majority of the best accommodation facilities are near the railway stations. We have reserved accommodation in Pensions, Independent Hostels and two star Hotels. Average price Western Europe £12, average price Eastern Europe £7.

Feature Activities and Attractions: An enormous amount of cultural, scenic and activity experiences spread over at least 9 countries. Day 1 London - Paris (France): Trip planning, Ferry across the Channel. Day 2 Paris - Brive: the metro, sightseeing, including the: Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame, Café lunch, Wine. Day 3 Brive - Barcelona: Night out in this amazing city. Day 4 Barcelona: guided sightseeing Day 5 Barcelona to Nimes: the home of denim, Roman ruins. Day 6 Nimes(Marseille) to Nice: The riviera style. GREECE

Route Guide Travel
Guided departures on a set route throughout five very different yet spectacular Greek Islands. Predominately we will be using local ferry systems including some local rail and bus transfers to get to our final destination. The best way to keep you both on and off the beaten track.

Accommodation
We have located the best possible bungalows and self-contained apartments, usually right on the beachfront or overlooking the most dramatic views. Average about £10 per night.

Water sports including water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, horse riding, beach parties, visiting churches, archaeological museums, cathedrals, volcanoes, festivals, golden sandy beaches, cliff walks, Greek arch enteric, and how could we forget the sunsets!

Travel Days
Day One Ferry from Athens to Mykonos
Ferry, markets, arts, carnivals, Greek archeture, tasting local wines and cheeses. Staying in bungalows on the beach.
Day Two Free day in Mykonos
Mykonos is one of the most cosmopolitan islands of the cyclades (complex of 39 islands) and the most traditional. For Mykonos it is said that it is an island of its own world, purely because of such heart felt traditions, customs and uniqueness. Images of blue and white washed houses are surrounded by the in-depth shocking blueness of the sea. Experience the traditions, customs and uniqueness of such a historic island.
Day Three Ferry from Mykonos to Paros
Check in to our self-contained apartments, loads of water sports to try - windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, water-skiing, maybe even try a horse or mountain bike ride around the island.
Day Four Free day in Paros
Our view from our apartment over looks the Aegean, in the quaint fishing village in Naousa. Here we can explore the Nauosa Church's, Museums, ancient cemetery's, the Antiparos Caves, Agais Tiras Cathedrals, the Butterfly Valley and the Marble Quarries.
Day Five Ferry from Paros to Naxos
Discover the historical background to the Cyclades, Castle of Naxos, Towers of Glezos, and Archelogical museum.
Day Six & Seven Free days in Naxos
Naxos is home to the largest and most vast beaches of the Cyclades, with its Rocky Mountains and cliffs that suddenly sink into the sea. There is an abundance of springs and streams and beaches too. There are local busses that will take you all around the islands, mopeds are also available to hire.
Day Eight Ferry from Naxos to Ios
Beaches, boat excursions, party atmosphere, festivals and carnivals.
Day Nine Free Day in Ios
Many a beach to be explored here, you can try Mylotas which is more popular beach or Tzamaria if you like it on the quiet side. If the timing is right we indulge into the local festivities or just hang out our beach side bungalow.
Day Ten Ferry from Ios to Santorini
Explore Santorini for its mysterious villages, museums, architecture, and excavations. We stay in an awesome apartment 50 m from Black Volcanic Beach (Parissa), which house some great boat excursions, volcano, villages.
Day Eleven & Twelve Free days in Santorini
Santorini said to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world, indeed one of the most romantic with its sunsets, traditional archeture and own unique atmosphere. It also houses the great Profits Ellis Peak, the ancient graffiti tomes, theatres and sanctuaries, loads of ancient history and culture to be experienced here.
Day Thirteen Ferry from Santorini to Athens
Back to the main land.
